Podcast #36- Conversation with Jason Fisher
This podcast was the outcome of Jason sending me a message! After listening to a few episodes, he wrote in a note, about enjoying a new podcast, which makes me so happy! I emailed him back, we chatted once & this is our second conversation- as always centered around fantastic music picks.
Jason tells us about getting into different music as a teenager and feeling his way around. After getting into Widespread Panic, and a taste of tour shows- he took a deeper dive in. Years later Jason listens to The Dead more than ever before, and is creating memories and experiences with his family that I am sure will be formative to their childhoods – bonus song- both Jackson and Evangeline’s favorite tunes- maybe 6 songs is the new 5 :)??
The first song pick- Let it Rock, by late and great Chuck Berry ( chosen weeks before his death) & my fascination of musical influences, past- present and future in this genre, sets us on an organic theme -which was so much fun to discuss!
Thank you & enjoy-
