Podcast #31- Connor Bradley
This weeks podcast with Connor is what I call a 21st Century Deadhead story!
Connor is 20 years old- and is fully ON THE BUS! We talk about his early days listening to his Dad’s mix CD’s that were a mix of Grateful Dead- Harry Chapin and other music legends that in my opinion should be mandatory for parents to teach- AMAZING MUSIC 101. It took a few years, but the foundations was set & in 2011 Connor got a chance to go see Further with his Dad- his life was changed and he became a Deadhead through and through.
We talk about how amazing it is have a community that welcomes generations to the family- his experiences at Dead and Company- and adventures to see Dark Star Orchestra at Penns Peak in Pennsylvania. Connor selected Might as Well from that show- so this weeks podcast is the first, but I’m sure not the last to include some DSO.
I had so much fun meeting Connor & look forward to shaking our bones together this summer at Dead and Company. Connecting with Deadheads from all walks of life- ages and experiences was my inspiration for Strangers Stopping Strangers- I am so grateful to be on this adventure with all the “guests” who have shared their stories and special music choices & all the listeners who are enjoying the ride with me!
Thank you for tuning in ~ and enjoy!
