This week we get to hear the stories- song picks from Randy Freeman!  Randy and I met via me and his business partner Dan and I meeting on Instagram. Dan & Randy are the men behind Woven Free, a very cool textile company that makes all kind of unique pieces that range from tapestry woven bracelets- to hand embroider vintage Levis jackets- all very beautiful and quality crafted.   www.wovenfree.com

I  received a PM message from Dan, which then led us to a conversation, and me asking if he would like to be on the podcast…..he immediately said RANDY is the guy to talk Dead with- and was he ever!!

Randy sent me a beautifully crafted letter with his song picks, that had incredible well though out memories and reasons why he selected those particular shows. Randy and I scheduled our time to talk – not super easy between 2 busy lives and a 3 hour time change- and we were ready to talk Dead- Inspiration that Moves Us Brightly and many other topics!

Randy was such a thoughtful person to talk to! Working with guitars in a career job, he is very knowledgeable about the logistics behind playing – but more than just that- he is so passionate about the music and incredibly tuned in/ compassionate  to that special vulnerability that can be experienced and shared at a great show, a ride filled with ups- downs- and the curves in between that get us there.

So many laughs – and amazing music – its been said before and I’ll say it again,  I hope you enjoy listening as much as we did making it!
